Senior Marketing Analytics & Data Scientist

(Contract) — London Bridge, Hybrid (2 days on-site per week). Start ASAP. Outside IR35 | £500 per day | 3 months | Full or Part-Time. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Analytics & Data Scientist to join on a contract basis. This role is central to building a new reporting and analytics framework, with a strong emphasis on Tableau reporting and analysis. The successful candidate will design and automate dashboards, deliver actionable insights, and ensure marketing and sales data is accurate, consistent, and decision-ready. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives on creating reporting infrastructure from the ground up, and who can translate complex datasets into meaningful commercial insights. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and automate

Tableau dashboards

across digital marketing channels (Paid Media, Social, CRM, etc.). Partner with senior stakeholders to define KPIs and metrics aligned to business goals. Analyse campaign performance, channel ROI, sales funnel health, and customer acquisition trends. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of marketing and sales reporting data. Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support marketing experiments, attribution modelling, and performance optimisation. Contribute to future data projects, including media mix modelling, lead/session scoring, and pipeline optimisation. Data stored in GCP (GA4, ad platforms, internal sources). BigQuery for querying. Reporting in Tableau (key focus for this role). Requirements

6+ years’ experience in analytics or data science within digital marketing or eCommerce. Advanced proficiency in Tableau (dashboards, automation, and reporting). Strong skills in SQL and Excel. Knowledge of GA4, paid media platforms, CRM systems. Intermediate Python (for data ingestion and ML projects). Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
