The role

Working in the Marketing department and reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Senior Manager, Marketing and Brand will lead and manage marketing activity for Royal Museums Greenwich in order to drive reach, revenue and reputation and deliver the organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities will include working with the Head of Marketing to develop the marketing strategy, lead and manage the slate of integrated marketing campaigns for RMG across the year to drive ticket sales and income generation, overseeing the successful delivery of campaigns and marketing projects, managing RMG’s marketing agencies, commissioning design creative and marketing materials for special exhibitions and events, and successfully line managing the campaign team.

The successful candidate will have experience managing successful consumer-facing marketing campaigns, writing marketing strategies, conducting detailed marketing planning, and devising and managing successful integrated multiple media campaigns. Experience of brand design and development, procurement, briefing and management of marketing agencies, and experience and knowledge of digital marketing and successful social media is essential for this role. The post holder will have the ability to manage substantial budgets, as well as proven experience of leadership and management of a team of staff.

This is a full time, permanent role in Band 3 - Senior Management. Core hours of work will be 36, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, although due to the nature of the work, flexibility may be required.
