Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development & Execution: Take the reins on our customer advocacy and thought leadership strategy for EMEA. Craft regional plans that blend global themes with local relevance, including customer stories, original content, and market-focused insights.
  • Collaboration: Connect with global advocacy, marketing, and sales to share best practices and resources; align with the global content team to bring EMEA insights to regional content.
  • People & Budgets: Lead and motivate a small regional team (two marketers), oversee budgets for customer advocacy and content programs, and allocate resources effectively to maximise impact.
  • Customer Advocacy: Own and drive the regional customer advocacy program, partnering with sales and customer success to identify and strengthen relationships with standout customer advocates.
  • Thought Leadership & Content Creation: Collaborate with the global content team to keep strategy sharp and content regionally relevant; lead quarterly thought leadership launches and build programs for CXO engagement with regional touchpoints (including podcasts, Perspectives, sponsored content); ensure EBC, CBC, ESP executive engagement programs are powered by top-notch thought leadership.
  • Localization & Translation: Work with regional marketers to ensure effective EMEA localisation and translation for France and Germany.
  • Program Impact & Continuous Improvement: Define, track, and share key metrics for advocacy and thought leadership; monitor participation and business impact and use learnings to keep initiatives fresh and relevant.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in customer marketing, content marketing, or thought leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of EMEA, especially in managing regional programs, localisation, and cross-cultural communication.
  • Proven leadership with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Customer-centric mindset, with ability to weave customer insights into programs.
  • Storytelling across channels (written, video, audio, etc.).
  • Ability to connect, influence, and rally teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience running integrated marketing campaigns and advocacy/influencer programs.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English; fluency in French and/or German is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with marketing CRMs and analytics tools; data-driven with a focus on optimization.
