About the role Thank you for your interest in our Senior Local Marketing Manager opportunity.
As the successful candidate, you’ll lead and own the local marketing plan, planning process, governance and prioritisation of all local marketing activities into a prioritised & resourced delivery plan.
This role relies on collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders across retail, marketing channels, space planning and property.
Working closely with colleagues across marketing and other key functions, you and your team will be the conduit with Retail for all marketing activity relating to refurbishments and new branch openings.

Salary : Up to £65,000 per annum depending on skill and experience
Contract type : This is a temporary opportunity until December 2026
Hours and location of the role :
35 hours per week
Your home location will be our Bracknell Head Office
The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The team attend the office 2 days a week to connect and attend key meetings on more of an ad-hoc basis
Travel to branches as and when required
Key responsibilities:
Understands local and store-level market & competitor context and identifies/prioritises required actions/activities
Leads the development and delivery of a local marketing plan, working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, and ensuring the plan aligns with the overall customer plan and can be appropriately resourced
Local marketing plans include supporting our retail and commercial strategies to invest in our store estate such as store refurbishments or new openings
Scope the opportunity for local marketing to partner with property & commercial to create defensive competitor impact activity. Scale of this to be agreed based on ROI
Coordinates the delivery of local marketing activity, including the production or deployment of toolkits, as appropriate, the briefing of functional specialists, and the oversight of delivery to plan and budget
Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing team of marketing and events professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on target delivery
Empowers the team to take ownership and accountability, providing clear direction, ongoing feedback
Act in accordance with the Partnership’s purpose and democratic principles, constructively participating in co-ownership, and demonstrating to customers and each other that it is a better way of doing business.
Share your knowledge, experiences, ideas and opinion to improve the Partnership, speaking honestly and frequently

Essential skills and/or experience you’ll need:
Extensive marketing experience in a role delivering multi-channel campaigns nationally or locally
Extensive experience of working with and improving process and planning
Project management
Leading cross-functional projects
Managing budgets
Managing teams
Desirable skills and/or experience you may have:
Knowledge of marketing attribution
Knowledge of customer segmentation
Omnichannel retailing
Food retail experience
Executing change/innovation
Professional marketing qualification
Experience gathering insight from data to assist decision makers
Using data visualisation tools, such as Tableau, to make data informed decisions
