Position Overview
Responsible for setting our global product marketing strategy for Entity and Subsidiary Management, linking customer needs to go-to-market strategy, product positioning and pricing across the organization. The Senior Director, Product Marketing will be an expert in understanding our customer and market, and will build stories to engage current and future customers while creating demand and differentiating us from the competition. The Senior Director’s impact will touch all parts of the company to fuel growth as the market leader in this space.
The Senior Director of Product Marketing will drive the success of Diligent’s Entity Management software and Managed Services offering in the global market, across personas and verticals. The role owns revenue and retention targets, partnering with Sales and Product Management. It includes developing a deep understanding of customers, products, technology, the market, key verticals and segments, and the competition.
Responsibilities
- Lead a growing team, developing their careers while driving core initiatives in a high-growth environment.
- Own, define and operationalize the company’s global GTM strategy for Entities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather market insights that inform product roadmap and GTM strategies.
- Partner with Product to build new capabilities to differentiate Entities from the competition.
- Collaborate with Product and Managed Services to build AI-enabled managed services in the Entities product.
- Identify addressable market opportunities and define global market segmentation with input from Product, Marketing and Sales.
- Work with Product Management to develop customer narratives and compelling stories.
- Collaborate with Business Operations, Enablement and Sales leadership to deliver enablement strategies.
- Lead pricing and packaging initiatives for new segments, products and cross-portfolio packages.
- Define segmentation, use cases, buyer personas and value propositions to guide positioning, targeting, pricing and messaging.
- Define clear customer pain points, value propositions and competitive differentiation; develop customer success stories.
- Create segment-specific offers and messaging that are compelling and differentiated.
- Partner with Content Team to support webinars, guides, in-app messaging, sales materials, customer success stories and blogs; monitor competitive activity and identify gaps and opportunities.
Required Experience/Skills
- 5+ years of experience in the corporate governance market.
- 5+ years managing a team in a fast-paced marketing organization.
- Experience developing go-to-market plans with data-driven results.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally across product, sales and training; understanding of SaaS pricing and pricing/packaging strategies.
- Experience creating and positioning solution offers for different segments.
- Ability to craft compelling stories, collateral and tools for both business and technical buyers.
- Technically savvy and curious about new technologies and how they enable customer solutions.
- Avid learner with experience entering new markets and devising marketing strategies.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across diverse views.
