Ocho are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to take the lead in building and scaling secure, cloud-native solutions for high-profile client projects.

In this role, you'll streamline development and deployment pipelines, enhance infrastructure reliability and security, and drive continuous improvement across the engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust DevOps solutions in AWS and Azure.
• Design and optimise CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Manage cloud infrastructure with services such as Azure Functions, or AWS Lambda, EventBridge, SQS.
• Automate deployments with IaC tools (Terraform, CDK).
• Use GitHub for version control and workflow management.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and security issues.
• Drive best practices in security, monitoring, and compliance.
• Recommend improvements based on emerging DevOps tools and trends.

Experience

• Proven DevOps experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong background in CI/CD design and automation.
• Skilled in IaC (Terraform, CDK) and scripting (Python, Shell, or PowerShell).
• Proficient with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about new DevOps practices.
