A leading global financial services group is seeking a Senior Category Manager to take ownership of procurement activity across Marketing, Aggregators, Data, and the Digital Centre of Excellence.
This is a senior leadership position, responsible for both strategy and delivery, with a clear mandate to accelerate digital adoption and strengthen marketing procurement.
The role will involve managing a team of five while working closely with senior stakeholders across the UK. It offers both scope and challenge, breaking down silos, navigating complex relationships, and driving value through innovation, efficiency, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities Lead category strategies across Marketing, Data, Aggregators, and Digital Innovation. Act as a trusted business partner, challenging thinking, influencing decisions, and unlocking value. Blend marketing procurement expertise with IT/digital literacy to support digital transformation. Manage and develop a team of sourcing professionals, setting direction and building capability. Deliver procurement outcomes that balance cost savings, innovation, sustainability, and risk control. Build strong supplier partnerships to foster performance improvement and innovation.
