Overview
You will assist with the delivery of RBC BlueBay Asset Management’s product marketing activities, aligned to the firm’s strategic priorities. You will support the Product Marketing Director and Associate Director in creating product content and messaging, developing campaign and client materials, as well as conducting market research to help position our products effectively. The role sits within the Product Marketing team with a global remit supporting EMEA, APAC, the US and Canada.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of positioning and messaging for mutual funds and investment capabilities.
- Help create clear and engaging product collateral, such as pitchbooks, product profiles, and digital content, tailored to different client audiences.
- Support delivery of marketing campaigns for the firm’s focus funds or strategies.
- Work with compliance to ensure marketing content adheres to regulatory standards while maintaining commercial relevance.
- Conduct basic competitor and market research to support product differentiation and highlight key selling points.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing metrics on marketing effectiveness to provide insights for improving future product marketing activities.
- Help maintain the product marketing toolkit by ensuring materials are updated, relevant, and appropriate for use.
- Support the distribution of product marketing assets and assist in communicating updates to the Marketing and Sales teams, as well as other key stakeholder teams.
Requirements
Must-have
- Experience in asset management, either within marketing or product.
- Good understanding of investment asset classes and related products, particularly fixed income (including alternatives) and equities.
- Knowledge of marketing channels and tactics.
- Experience of working with both institutional and intermediary audiences.
- Strong writing skills – ability to translate technical or complex language into simple, sales-driven messaging.
