Senior Account Strategist - Affiliate Marketing

Overview
We are looking for a Senior Account Strategist with proven experience in affiliate and partnership marketing. You'll own a portfolio of established and emerging brands, driving strategy, optimisation, and long-term growth. This role is about strategy and ownership — developing growth plans, negotiating with publishers, analysing data, and delivering insights that elevate client performance. You'll act as a trusted advisor to brands, guiding them on affiliate best practices while ensuring Partnerize delivers measurable impact. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in our London office.
The partnership channel offers scale and automation on a pay-for-performance model that delivers the operating leverage necessary for brand survival. Partnerize empowers marketers with technology built to discover, engage, and convert audiences, at scale, all while maintaining brand safety and control.
What you will do
- Manage a portfolio of brands, owning affiliate strategy, KPIs, and revenue growth.
- Develop and execute actionable growth plans, identifying new opportunities across partner types (e.g. cashback, content, influencer, CLO).
- Lead client calls and QBRs, proactively sharing performance insights, forecasts, and recommendations.
- Optimise campaigns using platform and performance data to drive ROI.
- Partner with Publisher Development Managers on recruitment and optimisation to hit client objectives.
- Forecast and manage budgets, reporting on program health and performance.
- Build and maintain strong senior-level client relationships, acting as their main point of contact.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and industry knowledge.
What you will achieve
1–6 months
- Take ownership of your portfolio and establish strong client relationships.
- Audit existing client strategies, identifying gaps and implementing improvements.
- Become fluent with the Partnerize platform and confidently use it to manage client activity.
- Build strong working relationships with publishers and internal teams.
6+ months
- Drive measurable ecommerce revenue growth for your brands.
- Lead contract renewals and manage budgets with confidence.
- Shape processes and tactics that improve client outcomes across the business.
- Act as a mentor and thought leader, supporting the wider team's development.
What you\'ll need to be successful
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience (7+ years online marketing, e-commerce, or affiliate).
- Proven affiliate experience — managing programs brand or agency side (not publisher-only).
- Strong data skills — confident with performance analysis, forecasting, and campaign optimisation.
- Track record of growing accounts and delivering strategic impact.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including senior-level engagement.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable negotiating with partners and managing commercial terms.
- Advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint, and G Suite.
