Birkbeck, University of London, is looking for a talented and ambitious Schools & Colleges Liaison Marketing Administrator to join our marketing team, and dive into the expanding area of student recruitment.This is an exciting opportunity to join our student recruitment drive and make an impact at Higher Education fairs and secondary schools and colleges in and around London. This role is offered on a full-time, fixed-term, 1 year contract with a salary of £31,234 a year.As Schools & Colleges Liaison Marketing Administrator you will be supporting the development and implementation of a wide range of student recruitment and marketing activities targeting secondary schools, 6th forms and colleges across Greater London.Your knowledge of the UCAS application cycle will support a range of recruitment events - including on campus, in secondary schools, colleges and at exhibitions. This also includes communicating with prospective students, teachers and academics as well as providing efficient admin support for these events.To succeed as Schools & Colleges Liaison Marketing Administrator, you will have a proven track record working in a customer facing role, with experience of working in the education sector to provide a high-quality service, with excellent written and oral communication skills.You will be an experienced multi-tasker, with strong organisation, planning and IT skills, and the ability to support the wider team’s tasks when required. You will also be expected to learn new software, information systems and online platforms to fulfil your role.The ability to cultivate good relationships is essential to this role, as well as building networks – internally and externally. This will be demonstrated through the impact of your work, and as you help to develop the profile of the expanding Schools & Colleges Liaison team at Birkbeck and with our partners and other stakeholders across London, and beyond.This opportunity would build on experience as: marketing executive, office administrator, data assistant, marketing assistant to name a few.Salary and benefits:£31,234 rising to £34,827 per year.
