If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.The OpportunityAs our EMEA Regional Marketing and Event Associate, you will be a key player in supporting our events and regional marketing initiatives across the region, contributing to the overall success of our marketing efforts. You’ll have an opportunity to work on a variety of events and learn best practices from stakeholders across the organization. Because you will work across multiple functions and projects in a fast-paced environment, an excellent eye for detail and ability to quickly master new concepts is essential. This position will provide a clear path to advance your career at Grafana, making it an excellent opportunity for career development.What You’ll Be Doing:Event support (80% of time)Collaborate with the Events Manager to plan and execute virtual and in-person eventsSupport event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, booth setup, and on-site support when necessaryTrack event metrics and provide post-event analysis to evaluate success and areas for improvementMaintain flawless project documentation including timelines, budgets, contracts, and vendor communications, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholdersConduct thorough quality checks on event assets (signage, collateral, presentations, registration sites, etc.) to ensure brand consistency and error-free executionProactively identify risks and troubleshoot issues before and during events, applying critical thinking to resolve challenges in real timeLiaise cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to align event objectives with broader business goalsLeverage AI tools to streamline event planning workflows (e.g., content drafting, data analysis, attendee engagement, reporting) while ensuring accuracy and brand alignmentRegional marketing support (20% of time)Manage and execute account-based marketing initiatives, including virtual programs and in-person events, ensuring data and project timelines are kept up to dateSupport account programs and conferences onsite if needed; create and localize marketing materials for specific regionsUse marketing analytics tools to gather data and generate reports on campaign performanceWhat Makes You a Great Fit:Located in UK or Netherlands2+ years of event marketing experienceWillingness to travel by plane (~40%)Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to learn and adapt to new marketing trends and technologiesProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines and shifting priorities, without sacrificing qualityExceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and spot potential gapsDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in fast-paced, ambiguous situationsCuriosity and openness to adopting new technologies, including AI, to improve efficiency and effectiveness in event executionProficiency in Zuddl, Salesforce, Splash, Monday.com a plusBonus Points For:A positive, solutions-oriented mindset, even in high-pressure situationsExtreme attention to detail and a critical eye for qualityEagerness to learn and continuously improve, with the ability to quickly master new conceptsWillingness to take initiative, ownership, and accountability for projectsStrong analytical, organizational, and project management skillsAbility to evaluate outcomes and recommend data-driven improvementsFlexibility and adaptability in an ever-changing environment with competing prioritiesA service mindset and ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to explore and apply AI-driven solutions for research, analysis, and operational efficiency, while maintaining high attention to detail and critical thinking to validate outputsCompensation & Rewards: In the United Kingdom, the base salary compensation range for this role is GBP 42,237 - GBP 53,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. All of our roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), giving every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success.
