About the role
Plumpton College are recruiting a professional and ambitious individual to be part of our Schools and Colleges Liaison Team. This is a full-time role based at Plumpton College in Lewes, with frequent travel and weekend/evening work. The postholder will work as part of the Marketing team reporting to the Marketing Manager and will be supervised on a day-to-day basis by the Schools & Colleges Co-ordinator. A flexible approach to the working week is required, as many school events are held in the evenings, plus some on-site weekend college events and shows.
Responsibilities
- Visit and establish good working relationships with secondary schools and colleges in your area.
- Attend careers events, present assemblies, run workshops and outreach activities with target schools, utilising both the Plumpton College campus and the Horticultural campus at One Garden Brighton, Stanmer Park.
- Deliver sessions with prospective students, showcasing the full range of courses Plumpton College has to offer, including campus tours at both our Plumpton and Horticultural campuses.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Excellent communicator, confident public speaker, well organised, proactive, and dedicated to working in schools and colleges to enhance the college’s reputation.
- Experience of working in an educational setting is desirable.
- Professional, hardworking and flexible team player who can work in a deadline-driven environment and adapt to new challenges.
