Role: Solution Marketing Manager

Location: UK, Cwmbran, Wales or London based

Mission

Joining an existing team of solution/product marketing professionals within a wider product and sales development organization, your mission will be to drive solution marketing activities for several NAGRAVISION product lines around video and connectivity security. This role requires strong business acumen and an understanding of the dynamic video service provider market alongside a comprehension of how underlying technical and business challenges affect the market at a local, regional and global level.

The Solution Marketing Manager is a key interface between sales, marketing and product management teams worldwide. The role is responsible for developing product and solution positioning that differentiates NAGRAVISION in the media and entertainment industry. While this role is based in the UK, its focus is global.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key contact for Solution/Product Marketing for assigned products and solutions. Own, lead and manage solution marketing initiatives.
  • Work with product managers to identify market opportunities before defining value propositions and go-to-market approaches for a product line. At each major product increment re-evaluate to ensure the value proposition is optimised for the product/solution’s target markets.
  • Work with group marcomm and product management teams to lead the creation of a set of solution briefs that will facilitate the creation of product collateral such as pitch-decks, explainers, videos, etc., to ensure the product is well represented in the target segment and region.
  • Assist in the definition of go-to-market (GTM) strategies to position NAGRAVISION products correctly in each segment and region.
  • Undertake appropriate levels of market research and competitive analysis – including sales insights, surveys and focus groups with customers/prospects to understand customer pain points, total addressable market and pricing/channel strategies.
  • Work with a cross-functional team across the business to collaborate on bringing new and differentiated solutions to market and contribute to ongoing product strategy.
  • Contribute to the definition of NAGRA VISION thought-leadership initiatives designed to resonate with customers, prospective customers, industry partners and other relevant bodies.
  • Collaborate across the Kudelski Group with other solution marketing teams to anticipate issues, align priorities and develop coherent and impactful output that balances business needs with team constraints, championing innovation-driven customer value.

Requirements / Profile

PERSON PROFILE

A self-driven and highly motivated product/solution marketing professional familiar with the media and entertainment industry, who can engage with a broad range of roles across the organisation. Driven by a passion to create game-changing marketing strategies around technology solutions and services, you are someone who likes to drive change and be part of a highly dynamic team adapting to today’s video industry.

EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND

  • 5 years experience in an international, multi-cultural business environment
  • Excellent marketing execution and business analysis skills with strong capabilities in effectively positioning and promoting products and services
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills that truly engage audiences
  • Successful track record of product/solution marketing and/or product development with exposure to commercial and business management
  • Ability to translate complex concepts and technologies into business-oriented value propositions
  • Experience of working with product managers, marcomm and sales enablement teams in day-to-day activities, with experience of knowledge transfer or training/coaching across the organisation
  • Proven evidence of successfully working in matrix and management-by-influence organisations
  • Experience of working in technical B2B organisations with extensive partner ecosystems or in roles that have daily interaction with technical concepts
  • Dynamic, autonomous and capable of taking decisions in a fast-evolving environment whilst working as part of a dispersed, cross-cultural team with a reputation for delivering results
  • Working knowledge of the media and entertainment industry with a particular focus on the distribution of digital media, and an understanding of its forces and trends on an international scale (preferred)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced University degree in Business / Technical discipline
  • Demonstrable business acumen acquired through experience and/or formal business training
  • Excellent command of English both written and oral – native or near-native knowledge. Other languages an asset.
