We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager with a strong background in biopharma and data management software to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and is passionate about translating complex scientific and technical concepts into compelling value propositions.
You will play a critical role in driving go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning for our Polar and PIMS software solutions that support research & discovery, pre-clinical, clinical development, and manufacturing for the biopharma industry. Your work will directly impact how we engage with customers, influence buying decisions, and support commercial success.
This position reports to the Senior Product Marketing Manager and is part of the Global Marketing Team. The preference is for this position to be based out of our main office in Woking, UK. Candidates from from the US-East Coast may also be considered.
Success in this role means quickly gaining a deep understanding of IDBS products and the biopharma market, developing impactful marketing strategies, managing change with ease and delivering measurable results. You will be seen as a trusted partner by cross-functional teams, consistently producing high-quality content and driving product adoption. Your ability to learn quickly, work independently, and collaborate effectively will be key to thriving in this role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Initiate and oversee compelling awareness and lead generation programs aligned with IDBS Brand and sub-brand messaging, that deliver measurable Marketing-influenced and -originated pipeline
- Craft compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with leadership, scientific and technical audiences across the drug development lifecycle
- Create high-impact content including whitepapers, presentations, and customer-facing collateral.
- Collaborate on the development of message books and sales enablement material and activities for the sales teams to ensure messaging consistency and improve win rates
- Support research into industry trends, competitor analysis, customer’ pain points, and solution usage, which may include interviewing customers and KOLs
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Customer Success, and Marketing to align on product launches, campaigns, and sales enablement
- Actively use DBS (Danaher Business System) tools by defining key targets and quality metrics for all initiatives, identifying opportunities for, and then implementing, standard work as appropriate to review, evaluate and improve results
The essential requirements of the job include:
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing or related roles in the biopharma or life sciences software industry
- Strong understanding of the biopharma R&D lifecycle, especially research & discovery and clinical development
- Experience working with or marketing scientific informatics platforms (ex: ELNs, LES, LIMS) or data management tools in laboratory environments
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of quickly learning complex domains and technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics
- Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related scientific discipline; advanced degree or MBA is a plus

- Experience working in or with biopharma organizations

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / Environment Requirements:
- When travel is required by car. Proof of insurance and a clean driver’s record may be required
- Ability to travel up to 20%. Domestic and International Travel is expected.
