Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Product Marketing Executive to join our successful Marketing team. This is a Home Based role with some occasional travel to the office required.

We are offering this role on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave for 12 months, with the potential for a permanent opportunity beyond the contract period.

Inspired is looking to appoint a Product Marketing Executive to join them at an exciting time of growth. The Product Marketing Executive will play a vital role within the product and proposition team, to ensure our people have the right tools, resources and specialist support to meet their sales targets.

  • Supporting the Product Team with managing and delivering key strategic projects identified on the product development roadmap.
  • Define key value propositions and messaging of new and updated products to support the Group Marketing team.
  • Conduct market research to understand client needs and market appetite, analyse direct and indirect competition and communicate findings to inform product and proposition development.
  • Co-ordinate and implement content creation for battlecards, proposals, product cards, brochures and sales slides.
  • Update SharePoint ensuring product pages and sales tools are regularly updated and updates are communicated to business.
  • Provide fact-checking, copy-editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of product materials.
  • Present a credible technical and commercial interface, extracting relevant technical and commercial information, feeding back appropriate solutions and concepts.
  • Support product owners with product launches, ensuring the sales tools, training materials, and sessions are fully co-ordinated.
  • Provide product owners with support in delivering training sessions to our client facing teams.
  • Help develop and implement new and improved sales enablement tools and take advantage of technology advancement.
  • Support the wider marketing team with delivery.
  • Dealing with day-to-day ad-hoc requests and duties.
  • Read and comply with the company’s Health and Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health and Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial role
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent marketing qualification
  • Spelling and grammar must be to an excellent standard

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of the B2B energy industry is advantageous
