As a small business with ambitious growth plans, there will certainly be the opportunity for the right candidate to rise to a higher level of responsibility and reward than would be expected with our larger competitors.As well as traditional media campaigns, we offer a range of other services to our clients including copy writing, graphic design and presentation training.Having brought on some exciting new PR clients, we are now looking to grow our team with the addition of a bright and hardworking PR & Marketing Manager. This role will be a hybrid of working from our London office in Victoria and from home.We are a small team who works collaboratively on varied and challenging projects for international clients. Please get in touch for any further information or for an informal chat about the role.ResponsibilitiesCo-managing an account team, motivating and empowering them, keeping on top of own workload whilst also delegating where appropriateWork with excellent attention to detail and judgement, acting as the final point of review for LinkedIn posts and other such marketing materials and making basic decisions with regards to PR strategy and processCollaborate with other departments/ colleagues, e.g. graphic design and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to account managementHave awareness of the scope of duties in a client contract and ability to work appropriately within this mandate as well as ensuring other team members are doing so too Undertaking research for new business proposals, researching leads and instigating pitch meetings to potential new clients either in person or over Teams, as well as joining and actively contributing to pitch meetings Serving as the main point of contact for clients, communicating progress and managing expectations at all stagesBuilding strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients and journalists, and answering enquiries from the media and other organisationsMonitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs, for opportunities for our clientsPlanning, developing and implementing PR strategiesResearching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted mediaSitting in on press interviews (either via Teams or in person)Collating and analysing media coveragePosting on social media (usually LinkedIn) on behalf of Brackendale and our clients and engaging with users on our accountBuilding your awareness of industry events and liaising with organisers to find sponsorship and/or speaking opportunities for our clientsAttending and networking at industry events and being comfortable moderating panels at such eventsSkillsAbility to lead and motivate other team members, delegating tasks where appropriateExcellent communication skills, including effective writing skills and impeccable attention to detailDrive, competence and a willingness to learnExcellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and delegate appropriatelyCreativity and initiativeBusiness and finance awareness and a good knowledge of current affairsComfortable with talking to people on the phone and in person and pitching the business as well as its clientsWillingness to take on additional tasks as and when necessaryEducated to a degree level (desirable)Previous PR experience (essential)Languages: French, German or Spanish (desirable)The role40 hours per weekSalary dependent on experience28 days holiday including bank holidays, rising with length of servicePension contributionOpportunity to attend industry eventsYou must have the right to work in the UKTo applyInclude a tailored cover letter with your CVSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionMarketing and Sales #J-18808-Ljbffr
