We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Communications student to join our team specializing in Communications for our General Operations segment in Wellingborough. During your placement with us you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential. This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2026.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with European Marketing Team colleagues and other key stakeholders to deliver marketing assistance in line with the European marketing plan as part of European Marketing Team.
• Provide a wide range of marketing assistance for the delivery of the European marketing programmes, including events and exhibitions, web and social media campaigns, and advertising and PR campaigns.
• Deliver marketing assistance for communication and PR campaigns, including production and distribution of marketing collateral and sales materials.
• Provide local marketing assistance to the Cummins Distribution Europe sales team, European dealers and other key stakeholders across all marketing functions in line with the marketing plan.
• Provide administrative and logistical assistance to all marketing programmes and activities.
• Work with suppliers and other stakeholders to co‑ordinate the delivery of marketing materials, branded merchandise and other marketing assets for key projects.

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree in Marketing or related area.
• Excellent IT skills – MS Office.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Full driving licence.
