You will manage and develop your own sales and revenue pipeline, focusing on securing high-revenue merchants for our network. Reporting to the Mid-Market Sales Team Leader, you will be expected to achieve sales targets and contribute to the team\'s objectives through a results-driven and client-centric approach, while continuously developing your sales skills. This role offers the opportunity to sign clients globally, while providing a platform for personal and sales development.
There is an expectation of travel to our London office, client offices, or events at least twice per week, potentially more during on-boarding or peak periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Success: Achieve ambitious sales targets using various sales methods. Engage in daily activities including prospecting, lead qualification, and deal closure to expand the customer base across the UK and Benelux regions.
- Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and qualifying leads to responding to RFIs/RFPs, presenting proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals, while ensuring compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
- Event Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and generate new business opportunities.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Keep Salesforce CRM up-to-date with opportunities and contracts, ensuring a steady flow of business.
- Collaborative Integration: Work with Finance, Integrations, and Account Development teams to ensure a smooth transition for new clients from contract signing to full integration and launch.
- Market Intelligence: Research target brands, their affiliate activities, key contacts, and industry positioning to tailor approaches and maximize success.
- Achieve Performance Excellence: Consistently meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets through proactive engagement and strategic planning.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years in commercial roles focusing on new business development in SaaS sales, digital marketing, affiliate marketing, B2B marketplaces or related industries.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets with ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand client needs and offer the right Awin product and service.
- Strong English language skills; ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at various levels.
- Self-driven and commercially savvy; capable of independently managing projects in a fast-paced international environment.
- Solid foundation in sales skills; prior industry experience is essential.
- Active listening, cross-functional engagement, negotiating, proactivity, client orientation, and consultative selling to meet client needs.
- Native English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
