Overview
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join a busy yet small communications team on a temporary basis for up to 12 weeks. This will be for a non-profit professional membership body, working in a friendly culture that cares for professionals in a niche healthcare field.
You will lead on member-focused marketing activity, including managing targeted member campaigns across email, SMS, social media, and web, while ensuring consistent tone and identity across all communications. As well as driving day-to-day marketing activity, you’ll support a key business transformation project, helping implement a new CRM and transitioning email marketing systems. You will manage one person and provide new ideas for how they approach a key period around membership renewals and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Leading tailored retention and engagement campaigns across multiple digital channels
- Promoting services and benefits to diverse member and non-member audiences
- Managing brand identity and tone of voice across communications
- Overseeing social media and website content to ensure relevance and impact
- Supporting CRM and email marketing system transition projects
- Leading, motivating, and developing a small team
Qualifications / About you
You’ll bring significant experience in digital marketing, brand management, and communications, within a membership environment. You’ll be confident in campaign strategy and execution, with hands-on experience using CRM and email platforms. Strong stakeholder management, storytelling, and Dotdigital skills are essential. Experience with Customer Insights is desirable.

Full-time hours (option for 4 day workweek)
Hourly rate, salary equivalent to £55K
Location: Farringdon, London | 2 days per week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays preferred)
