OverviewThe Marketing Specialist – Retail is responsible for leading the annual eCommerce & Digital roadmaps and driving eCommerce channel performance for tyres and SMR (Service, Mechanical, Repair) categories, translating insights into action plans. This role develops and executes B2C campaigns to drive sell out and dealer profitability, and creates and tracks the B2C programme aligned to business objectives.Principle Duties And ResponsibilitiesEnsure franchisee satisfaction by leading the implementation of digital marketing strategies that drive traffic and sales.Lead digital transformation efforts in collaboration with the B2C and Trade marketing teams to ensure franchisees adopt and benefit from digital marketing tools and initiatives.Deploy digital campaigns focused on driving sell-out growth, working with category management to create digital content for auto service and tire promotions.Oversee digital content management for franchisees, including dealer pages, Google My Business (GMB), and local SEO optimization.Support franchisees in the creation and management of online reviews, citations and local search visibility including Trustpilot programme.Drive online appointment booking tool usage and provide training to franchisees to maximize engagement.Track digital marketing performance, analyze ROI, and recommend strategies for improving online presence and sales.Support franchisees with digital tools and strategies, ensuring they effectively integrate them into their business operations.Drive franchisee satisfaction and retention by developing and implementing consumer-focused marketing campaigns.Lead the execution of sell-out campaigns and collaborate with category management to design and implement tyre and auto service campaigns that meet both franchisee and consumer needs.Ensure the effective execution of dealer co-op advertising activities, ensuring brand consistency and quality across all platforms.Provide public relations (PR) and press support for franchisees’ local community initiatives, such as store openings and other consumer-facing events.Manage consumer-facing events and other promotional events that engage with the target audience.Track the effectiveness of sell-out campaigns, evaluating ROI and recommending improvements for future campaigns.Handle customer-related administrative tasks and franchisee requests to ensure smooth operations.EducationA bachelor’s degree in a marketing or commercial major is required.A master’s degree in a marketing or commercial major is advantageous.Experience3-4 years’ experience in a customer-focused marketing role with significant digital elements.Experience of creating demand via 3rd party retailers or distributors.Experience of working in eCommerce with 2-3 years’ experience in designing media and social programmes.Experience of working in automotive sector with eCommerce and/or digital experience.Knowledge & SkillsLanguages: Fluent in English.Strategic influencing.Fully competent with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.Holistic business acumen.Strong analytical skills.Customer sensitivity and knowledge.Ability to work with cross functional teams.Demonstrable and evidence-based skills in Digital, eCommerce, SEO & Media design.Project management.Goodyear is an equal employment opportunity employer.
