Overview

Marketing & Sales Coordinator - Maternity Cover (12 Month Fixed Term) for Noble Rot & Keeling Andrew / Shrine to the Vine. Based at our office on Lamb's Conduit Street, Bloomsbury, this is a diverse role assisting the Head of Marketing across three companies, with a focus on marketing, production, and sales.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and highly organised person who is a great communicator with an eye for what looks good (and what doesn't!), has a can-do attitude, and is comfortable with a busy workload. You will have excellent writing skills and digital know-how, experience with social media marketing, and be keen to grow sales and the reach of Noble Rot while working in an environment that celebrates authentic wine and food. A real passion for wine hospitality and independent magazines is desirable.

Noble Rot are three award-winning restaurants in London's Bloomsbury, Soho, and Mayfair. It is also a magazine about wine, food, and popular culture.

Noble Rot Magazine is published every 4 months, featuring columnists and notable interviewees. The magazine is home to exciting voices in wine and food, including contributors and features from a range of industry professionals.

Keeling Andrew supplies the UK's leading restaurants and shops with the world's greatest wines. Our agencies include a wide range of producers, and Keeling Andrew offers consultancy and wine programme management for top restaurants, as well as selling wine to the public through Shrine to the Vine shops. Shrine to the Vine is the wine shop and online delivery service owned by Keeling Andrew with three shops in London.

Job Role

Social Media

  • Great knowledge of social media platforms, in particular Instagram
  • Ability to take strong photographs, shoot engaging reels, and write copy in brand tone
  • Day-to-day running of social media accounts
  • Assisting with the social media strategy across the businesses

Digital Marketing & Events

  • Assist with photography and reels for newsletters
  • Support marketing and press campaigns; help create and develop marketing tools, packaging, and merchandise
  • Assist with organising and running events such as the annual Keeling Andrew Portfolio Tasting and Noble Rot's Fête du Beaujolais
  • Represent Noble Rot at wine fairs and events
  • Assist with updating Noble Rot and Keeling Andrew websites

Customer & Wholesale Sales

  • Process customer orders for magazines, subscriptions, prints, gift certificates, and merchandise from inception to fulfilment (liaising with mailing houses and shipping companies where required)
  • Raise invoices or issue receipts as requested
  • Handle customer inquiries, returns, and issue credit notes where needed
  • Process wholesale magazine orders from inception to fulfilment and payment (liaising with Newsstand and shipping companies as required)
  • Identify and contact potential new stockists, follow up with existing stockists
  • Liaise with UK wholesale distributors to provide new sales leads, ensure stock levels are sufficient, keep stockist lists updated, and coordinate with partner organisations (e.g. sommelier associations)

General

  • Administer the shop email inbox and Noble Rot Shopify (e-commerce platform)
  • Generate sales reports
  • Maintain mailing lists
  • Manage stock control for magazines, books, and merchandise
  • General admin duties for the Production and Marketing departments
  • Assist with merchandise and packaging development for restaurants, the magazine, wine shops, and the import business

Who Fits the Bill

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Instagram
  • Experience creating content for social media
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts
  • Proficient in MS Office, Mailchimp, Gmail, Google Docs, and project management tools
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign (ideal but not essential)
  • Clear, fluent writing style with strong editorial judgment
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong decision-making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer communication skills
  • An eye for what looks great (and what doesn\'t!)
  • Positive, self-motivated, kind and eager to learn more about wine and food
