From a marketing perspective, it ensures alignment and collaboration among departments to effectively deliver integrated campaigns and activities through email communications, digital marketing, public relations, events coordination, tactical partnerships, and advertising promotions.As a key point of contact for the PR agency, the Marketing & PR Specialist will foster strong relationships, contribute to strategic planning, and attend agency meetings. The role also drives the execution of the email marketing strategy, with a focus on segmentation, dynamic personalised content, and marketing automation, ensuring these tools are leveraged to maximise opportunities and strengthen customer engagement.Core ResponsibilitiesSupporting with the planning, coordination and development of resort-wide yearly plans and activities for Cameron House and Cameron LodgesCollaborating with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies and initiatives with overall business objectivesDeveloping and briefing campaigns or promotions into the business and external agencies or suppliers as requiredManaging the day-to-day PR activity, including agency, media, influencer and resort relations, activity / event co-ordination and planningOverseeing and arranging press itineraries and experiences for media visits as well as tours, attendance required as necessary to support the businessAssisting with the nurturing of partnerships, producing creative briefs from start to finish, ensuring content delivers strong engagementBudget management activities including obtaining quotationsUtilising CRM tools to segment and target customer audiences for personalised campaigns to aid retention and ROI for all marketing activitiesOwnership of the email channel and for developing campaigns to engage customers plus responsibility for the planning and execution of the email strategy from a tactical and automated perspectiveManaging and co-ordinating photography and videography projectsTo report, track activity and communicate results for all relevant campaigns and initiatives, compiling close documents where necessaryIdentifying commercial initiatives and opportunities which will drive exposure and generate revenueActively participating in marketing, PR, commercial and operational meetings where requiredAnalysing and reporting on marketing data to influence marketing efforts and audience targetingManaging website content and ensuring updates are made in a timely mannerAnalysing KPI’s to measure effectiveness of PR campaigns and provide actionable insightsTo report, track activity and communicate results for all relevant campaigns and initiativesReviewing monthly PR reporting and recommending actionsEnsuring brand consistency across all PR and marketing activityPersonal Characteristics and CompetenciesThe following range of characteristics and competencies are required.EssentialRelevant experience in a marketing and PR roleCreative and strategic thinking with a passion for storytelling, brand building, and a proven track record in executing successful marketing campaigns across various channels to drive brand awareness and engagementGDPR compliance knowledgeExperience working with agency partners and website content management systemsUnderstanding of digital channels, including email, social media and paid advertisingProficiency in CRM and email marketing platformsStrong organisational and project management skillsExperience of managing large workloads and able to work effectively in a busy environmentCreative mindset with the ability to think strategically and analyticallyExcellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlinesExperience of managing large workloads and able to work effectively in a busy environmentAbility to express ideas clearly and concisely; disseminate information about decisions, plans, and activitiesAble to use initiative, prioritise and work under pressure of tight deadlines in a busy environmentStrong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, able to establish good working relationshipsEnthusiastic, self-motivated, and a real people-person driven with a desire to helpFirst-class oral, written and presentation skills, openly contributing ideas within a collaborative environmentDesirableA marketing-based qualificationGoogle Analytics certifications and tool knowledgeBenefits PackageWe offer a generous range of employee benefits and, given what we do and where we are, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to make the most of our own five-star facilities.
