OverviewThe Marketing Analyst will play a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making within the marketing function. This role is responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting marketing data to uncover trends, measure performance, and provide actionable insights that support strategic marketing initiatives. The Marketing Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness, customer behaviour, market trends, and competitor activity, helping the organisation optimise its marketing investments and improve return on investment.ResponsibilitiesCollect and analyse data from various sources including digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, web analytics, commercial finance and market research.Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance.Generate dashboards and regular performance reports for internal stakeholders.Identify trends and patterns in customer behaviour and preferences.Provide insights and recommendations for campaign optimisation, segmentation strategies, and budget allocation.Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform strategic planning.Assist in forecasting and ROI modelling for marketing activities.Ensure data integrity, compliance, and accuracy in reporting processes.Collating analysis of key market activity and data to inform future campaigns.Spending more time in store to understand our position in the market.Writing campaign and project wash ups and keeping data documents up to date.Assist with internal communications.Attending relevant meetings and cascading key information.QualificationsCustomer: Always consider customers mindset and relevance, understanding and mapping out the customer journey.Eye for detail: Ensuring that the output of all work is 100% accurate.Marketing knowledge: Have a strong understanding of marketing principles, including organic and digital marketing channels.Driving data accuracy: Proficiency in data analytics, statistics, and performance measurement techniques, while ensuring data privacy and compliance regulations are adhered to (GDPR).
