About The Role
Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and ready to make a real impact? We are looking for a proactive Marketing Operations Planner to help continue to deliver our marketing strategy, co-ordinating activity across teams, managing schedules, and keeping everything running smoothly.
Working with a company-wide remit you’ll be at the heart of planning and tracking campaigns, ensuring we stay on time, on budget, and on message. If you enjoy working with different teams, love a good spreadsheet, and have a passion for process and performance, this could be the perfect next step in your marketing career.
This is a hybrid working role 2/3 days between the home and our Head Office based in Hull.
Please be aware this is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and co-ordination of annual marketing plan to meet strategic and commercial objectives
Quarterly reviews of the plan with marketing leadership team and reconciliation with finance
Manage plan and campaign governance through plan review process, includes actions plans and follow up with campaign owners
Track progress against plan, escalating any risk to delivery and mitigating accordingly
Co-ordinate budget allocation process in alignment with financial planning cycle
Conduct monthly tracking and reporting of budget spend, co-ordinating with finance
Schedule all marketing activity to ensure correct volume and frequency of customer communication
Track resource allocation to ensure plan is deliverable with human and financial resource
Compile presentations as required into Exec team to update on progress of marketing activity

About You
The ideal Marketing Operations Planner will:
Experience of planning and co-ordination of multiple complex activities over a wide stakeholder group is essential
Graduate educated to degree level, not essential but may be an advantage
Have previous experience in Project management. Formal PM qualification may be an advantage
Working knowledge of latest marketing workflow, planning tools and techniques
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to influence at all levels
Confident verbal and written presentation skills
Good commercial acumen, working understanding of return on investment and performance reporting
Experience of managing operations across a marketing function desirable but not essential
