Job Description
About Freedman International
Freedman is the global campaign partner trusted by the world's biggest challenger brands to protect their brand across borders and deliver brilliant global campaigns at pace and scale. We specialise in ensuring cultural relevance, compliance, consistency, timeliness, and budget adherence for our clients' global objectives.
Our portfolio includes leading brands such as Meta, Oatly, IHG and Zoetis.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an exceptional Marketing Operations Change Manager with proven agency experience for an initial 6-month contract to lead transformational change across our 50-person production team.
You'll need to understand the fast-paced world of global marketing campaign delivery - working with teams managing workflows, versioning, and quality control for international brands. This isn't a corporate change role; it's about transforming how a creative production agency delivers at pace and scale.
This is a high-impact contract opportunity to drive critical process improvements through delivery in January 2026 and the initial phases of our rolling implementation programme. You'll establish the foundations for sustained operational success whilst leading change adoption across multiple teams.
The role offers potential to extend based on business needs and could transition into establishing ongoing operational frameworks.
If you thrive on driving meaningful change, embedding best practices in fast-paced environments, and delivering tangible results, this contract offers the platform to make an immediate and lasting impact.
Essential Background
This role requires proven experience in marketing, localisation, or production agency environments.
You must understand:
- Agency workflows and the pace of client-driven delivery
- Global campaign production and versioning
- Creative production environments with multiple concurrent projects
- Working with tools like Monday.com, WordBee, Ziflow or similar production management platforms
If you don't have agency or production experience, this role isn't suitable.
What You'll Do
Lead Transformational Change
- Drive our business change programme from January 2026 delivery through the initial implementation phase
- Build and manage a dedicated change team (trainer, documentation specialist, UAT coordinator)
- Act as the central point of contact, guiding teams through transformation with clarity and confidence
- Establish momentum and engagement that will sustain beyond the initial contract period
Reengineer Our Processes
- Collaborate with Account Management, Project Management, Translation, and QC teams to rewrite and optimise workflows
- Design and document delivery frameworks, SOPs, and playbooks
- Eliminate friction points across team handoffs and system integrations (Monday.com, WordBee, Ziflow)
- Define quality standards and error taxonomies across all functions
- Design scalable processes that support our continued growth
- Create the foundation for sustained operational success
Drive Adoption & Build Capability
- Identify training needs and coordinate comprehensive learning programmes
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing to ensure smooth transitions
- Set up QA oversight mechanisms to support functional leads
- Champion a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement across the organisation
Foster Continuous Improvement
- Run post-mortems and retrospectives, using insights to prevent recurring issues
- Implement structured improvement cycles using proven methodologies
- Monitor adoption during the critical early phases
- Establish improvement practices that teams can sustain independently
What You'll Bring
Essential Experience
- Experience in marketing, localisation, or production agency environments
- 7+ years in business change management AND operational excellence
- Strong knowledge of change management methodologies
- Proven track record embedding cross-functional processes across teams of 40+ people
- Experience designing and delivering training programmes and capability building
- Background running QA frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives
- Team leadership experience, ideally in contract or time-bound delivery environments
Please note: This role specifically requires agency experience. Corporate change management experience alone, without agency/localisation/production background, will not be suitable for this position.
Skills & Qualities
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities at all levels
- Strong process mapping and workflow design capabilities
- Analytical mindset with focus on root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Natural ability to toggle between strategic thinking and hands-on delivery
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable with tools like Monday.com, WordBee, Ziflow or similar platforms
Personal Attributes
- Proactive and adaptable - you can hit the ground running and deliver quickly
- Collaborative and approachable - you build consensus and maintain engagement
- Results-focused - you deliver tangible outcomes within defined timeframes
- Resilient - you thrive in fast-paced, time-bound delivery environments
Desirable But Not Essential
- Professional change management qualification (CMI, APM, etc.)
- Exposure to operational improvement frameworks
- Understanding of localisation workflows and international campaign delivery
- Experience with system integration projects and workflow automation
- Interim or contract change management experience in similar environments
What We Offer
- Competitive day rate reflecting the scope and impact of this contract role
- Initial 6-month contract with strong potential to extend based on business needs and performance
- Hybrid working with our central London office
- Opportunity to make immediate, tangible impact on organisational transformation
- Collaborative and creative environment working with high-profile global brands
- Exposure to end-to-end change delivery with autonomy and leadership backing
- Potential for contract extension or permanent conversion for the right candidate

Initial 6-Month Contract Period
- Successful delivery of process improvements by January 2026
- Effective launch and early adoption of new processes and systems
- Change team established and operating effectively
- Strong stakeholder satisfaction across production teams
- Clear foundations established for ongoing operational success
Potential Extension Phase
- Continued implementation of rolling programme changes
- Measurable adoption rates and minimal disruption
- Documented delivery frameworks and SOPs in place
- Evidence of embedded improvement practices across teams

- Your experience delivering high-impact change programmes in similar timeframes
- How you would approach the first 6 months to ensure maximum impact
