OverviewOne of my local goverment clients is seeking a Marketing Officer to join its dedicated Communications Team.In this vital role, you ll be at the forefront of managing the Council's external media presence, promoting key events, and ensuring high-quality engagement with the public through press releases, social media, and digital content.ResponsibilitiesLead on identifying proactive communication opportunities for external media coverage.Create, publish, and distribute press releases, social media content, and videos.Maintain a forward plan across media channels and manage timely responses to media queries.Monitor and manage online engagement, including responding to social media comments.Support daily website maintenance, media inboxes, and community updates.RequirementsProven experience in marketing, communications, or PR (preferably within local government or public sector).Strong written communication and copywriting skills.Experience managing media responses and creating multimedia content.Confident working both independently and collaboratively.Ability to travel to the Nuneaton office when required.If interested in this role please send your CV to Lee-Jaun at Coyle Personnel Ltd. #J-18808-Ljbffr
