You will be functioning as part of an exciting, and growing team within our Marketing Department. You will be supporting the execution and delivery of key GTM’s across our solutions and services portfolio, including events, video creation, content build, social media planning and project co‑ordination. Our goal is to support the overall Softcat strategy of selling more to existing customers and finding more new customers. Responsibilities
Developing and leading the Softcat Propositions ensuring alignment with GTM strategy and overall business objectives. Providing feedback and inputting into how the strategy is being executed and informing continuous improvements. Owning relationships with Softcat’s Sales Team, technology councils, enablement teams and partner team to define clear value propositions for all areas of our portfolio. Overseeing and managing all stages of Proposition Marketing plans from planning/scoping, message build, content delivery, activation and reporting. Taking accountability for the consistent articulation and representation of the Softcat brand and story across all activities, both internally and externally. Leading and optimising the collaboration between marketing delivery functions and third‑party agencies to allow for effective briefing of projects, delivery of key activities including content creation, communications, customer events and digital activations. Managing and overseeing the team and individual project budgets. Developing and overseeing successful implementation of marketing plans to support the Softcat sales strategy of selling more to existing customers and expanding the customer base. Accountability for reporting back on ROI and performance of projects.
Qualifications
5 years+ demonstrable experience in B2B marketing with a focus on strategy and leadership. Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies, campaigns and value propositions that drive business growth. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across a variety of seniorities and third‑party agencies. Excellent strategic thinking and creative problem‑solving skills. Experience in managing large projects with multiple streams of activity. Strong use of project management tools and strong experience with Microsoft Office packages, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to advocate for marketing approval processes and guidelines. Commitment to self‑development and wider team development and an interest in broadening horizons through work.
