Expand Reach and Awareness
The Marketing Manager will significantly increase the visibility of our charity and the services we provide to South Asian families affected by domestic abuse. Through well-designed campaigns and stronger branding, more families will learn about our support, leading to earlier interventions and greater community trust.
Strengthen Engagement with Communities
By improving our digital and offline presence, this role will help us engage directly with communities, survivors, supporters, and potential partners. Culturally sensitive messaging will ensure our communications resonate with the audiences we aim to reach.
Drive Donor and Supporter Growth
A dedicated marketing strategy will make it easier to attract donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners. Clear, impactful storytelling will showcase our work and encourage continued and increased financial support.
Professionalise Campaign Delivery
This role will design and execute multi‑channel campaigns (social media, email, SEO/SEM, PR, and community events) that align with our organisational strategy. Campaigns will be monitored, analysed, and optimised to ensure measurable outcomes and long‑term effectiveness.
Enhance Social Media Presence
By developing engaging and culturally relevant content, this role will grow our online community and amplify our voice on key issues. Social media will become a vital platform for awareness, fundraising, and survivor empowerment.

What are we looking for?
Proven experience (3+ years) in marketing Fluent in English (written and spoken) Creativity and innovation We value someone who can bring fresh ideas to our campaigns, find new ways to engage communities, and create content that is both meaningful and inspiring. Proactive and independent As a small team, we need a volunteer who is self‑motivated, organised, and able to take initiative while working with minimal supervision.
Skills And Experience
Marketing and communications expertise A strong background in planning, managing, and delivering marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social media, PR, events). Digital skills Experience with social media management, email marketing tools, SEO/SEM, and digital advertising is highly desirable. Confidence in using analytics to track and optimise performance is also key. Content creation The ability to craft compelling copy, design engaging visuals, or produce multimedia content will be an asset in telling our story and building our presence. PR and partnerships Knowledge of media outreach, community engagement, and partnership building will help strengthen our reputation and expand our networks. Data management and compliance An understanding of GDPR and responsible data management practices is important, particularly in managing mailing lists and supporter communications. Strategic thinking The capacity to translate high‑level objectives into actionable marketing plans that deliver measurable results.
What will you be doing?
Campaign Management Design, deliver, and optimise multi‑channel marketing campaigns that engage our audiences and support organisational goals. Strategic Delivery Turn strategic objectives into actionable, cohesive plans across all marketing channels. Digital Marketing Oversee social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and digital advertising to increase reach and engagement. Public Relations & Partnerships Coordinate PR activity, community events, and strategic partnerships to strengthen visibility and credibility. Performance Tracking Monitor campaign results, analyse performance data, and refine strategies for maximum impact. GDPR Compliance Ensure mailing lists are maintained in line with GDPR requirements, keeping data accurate and compliant. Email Marketing Develop a clear email and newsletter strategy to reinforce our brand, inspire supporters, and keep stakeholders informed. Social Media Growth Enhance our social media presence to build awareness, foster engagement, and expand our community.
