In addition, visitors to Printworks will be able to interact with the screens and compete with other guests on the giant interactive e-gaming screen.As we enter a new chapter of the Printworks story, we are seeking an exceptional marketing professional to help us deliver the new Printworks to new audiences whilst expanding our loyal and established customer based. You’ll have a fully integrated marketing background and use your knowledge to elevate customer experience whilst leveraging an industry leading supply chain to deliver our vision.First class relationship management and communication skills will be a must as you will be working closely with our brands, site and head office teams as well as various external local stakeholders and the wider Manchester community.The ideal candidate will be well connected within Manchester and able to raise the profile of one of the city’s most exciting destinations through an effective marketing strategy. You’ll be commercially aware, results driven and possess the ambition to deliver an exceptional end product.The RoleThe purpose of the role is to prepare the marketing strategy and deliver tactical execution of campaigns and events that enhance footfall, profile and/or revenue at Printworks. The role will deliver the marketing strategy developed alongside Cushman & Wakefield’s Head of Place Activation & Enlivenment.With an in-depth knowledge of the leisure environment, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to effectively engage at all levels. Given the digital nature of our new offer, a keen interest in digital and experiential marketing will be vital.This position will also form part of the onsite Centre Management Team and support the overall operational management of the property in the absence of the Centre Manager or Operations Manager where required.The successful candidate would be working with a high degree of autonomy and in conjunctions with:Centre ManagementBrands / TenantsC&W’s Customer Experience teamOther third-party agencies were necessary (PR, Creative, Media, Events)Local stakeholders and partnersThe role reports to the Printworks Centre Director with dotted line reporting to C&W’s Head of Place Activation & Enlivenment.Required Skills & ExpertiseEssential5 years’ + marketing management experience, within a fast paced, customer focussed environmentExperience across the full marketing mix including specifically, social and digital management experience, events, PR, brandingCreative thinkerSelf-starter able to work autonomously and keep management briefed on activityExperience of managing significant budgetsHigh level of experience of supplier and agency managementTechnologically confident and able to adapt to new systemsExperience with Content Management systemsHard working and exceptionally organisedIT literateExcellent verbal and written communicationsHigh level of attention to detailAbility to present to clients and colleagues at a strategic levelExperience of leisure industry and good knowledge of current hospitality and leisure trendsGood local knowledge of Manchester and key stakeholdersAnalytical skillsDesirableMarketing degree / qualifications preferredBasic graphic design skillsPhotography skillsBasic videography (on phone) skillsIOSH managing safety or event management qualificationResponsibilitiesMarketing & Brand ManagementCoordinate the preparation and implementation of an annual marketing strategyUndertake coordination of all marketing activity including events, advertising, PR, design and digital, working with external agencies where necessaryProvide leadership and line management of the onsite Marketing ExecutiveManage marketing budget with keen focus on driving ROIBrief and manage external agencies against SLA’sAct as brand guardian for Printworks and ensure occupiers understand the Printworks brandCreate relevant, timely and engaging content for Printworks digital channelsDevelop and expand community and/or influencer outreach effortsContent management of structural digital offer (ceiling screen/gaming screen/wayfinding)Attend networking events/online communities where relevant and build own network for purposes of promoting the propertyEnter awards where relevant.Support the promotion and marketing of new occupiers within the centre whilst being mindful of the clients B2B marketing strategy.Brand & Stakeholder LiaisonLead occupier engagement programme, keeping brands/occupiers up to date with marketing plans and encouraging participation, gain constructive feedback, provide support and general assistance.Build relevant relationships with local stakeholder and community groups, identifying partnership opportunities and making sure that Printworks is a proactive member of the Manchester communityIn association with the Management Team, champion customer service / experience, dealing with enquiries, issues and complaints professionally and promptlyEnsure customer comments and complaints (including online) are brought to the attention of the entire management team and dealt with effectively and in partnership with the Centre DirectorAct as the lead contact for all enquiries relating to the commercial use of our digital screen assets, working in conjunction with the centre director to explore any opportunities to enhance brand and drive non-core income.Lead on the retender of services working with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve best value and appoint appropriate partners.ReportingWork to a set of KPI targets as agreed with managementRegularly measure performance and report monthly to the leadership team, ensure own records of all data are kept on site to be immediately available as requiredRegularly measure and report monthly/quarterly to the leadership team (landlord and relevant stakeholders) on the performance metrics of campaigns.Provide post event analysis for each event to be shared to your immediate colleagues (Surveyor/Estate/Customer Experience teams)Assist the Property and Centre Manager with Marketing relating service charge queries.Attend internal management meeting ensuring marketing is represented fully and appropriate updates provided.Operational SupportWorking as part of a team responsible for providing service excellence across all customer facing areas of PrintworksLine management of Marketing ExecutiveInduction of new brands and managers.
