Marketing Manager People First Recruitment Pay range This role is offered with a base salary of up to £51K per annum plus an 8% bonus. Location Tonbridge, Kent – hybrid (4 days a week in office, 1 day a week WFH) Duration 12 months maternity cover – full‑time contract. About the Employer A leading UK importer and distributor of quality cheeses and fine foods is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their Marketing Team. Key responsibilities
Plan and execute a marketing & comms plan for the calendar year, focusing on lead generation. Design content with suppliers for social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) using Canva. Maintain new website post‑launch (Q4 2025) and work with IT on integrations. Lead relationships with suppliers to align on marketing and future developments. Set and administer the annual marketing budget for Board approval. Assess the effectiveness of marketing activity and recommend adaptations. Conduct competitive market analysis and share insights. Ensure brand and tone of voice consistency across all channels. Provide tools and marketing materials to support Production, Sales & Commercial teams. Collaborate with senior managers to manage and measure campaign costs. Identify new business opportunities and work with teams to realise them. Lead management of company events (trade shows, retailer events). Manage NPD prior to launch and source new products for the portfolio. Support onboarding of any acquired business.
Essential qualifications
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite. Experience managing events. Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
Preferred skills
Strong communication and collaboration, including agency negotiations. Deep understanding of PR and marketing communications. Project leadership and people management, with influencing skills. Data interpretation skills to devise action plans. Experience crafting integrated marketing strategies across multiple channels. Creative and strategic thinker. Background in B2B is preferable.
