Marketing Manager required by a small, but highly-experienced and passionate experiential travel company. This will be a hands-on role for an experienced marketer from Travel who really wants to be instrumental in driving Marketing strategy. Salary dependent upon prior experience level and likely to range between 35K and 45K. London based.
Marketing Manager Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Direction: Shape and implement a comprehensive marketing approach that spans all channels. Ensure alignment with overarching business objectives and the brand’s core ethos.
Performance Marketing: Take charge of paid digital channels — including search, retargeting, and paid social. Be comfortable getting hands-on with campaign setup, optimisation, and analytics to drive results.
Website & Search Visibility: Manage the online platform from a content, SEO, and conversion optimisation perspective. Liaise with tech partners on improvements and be ready to directly edit site content and UX elements where needed.
Storytelling & Engagement: Run the brand’s communication channels — including social, email, and PR — with a focus on delivering compelling narratives that resonate with an audience of curious and conscious travellers.
Customer Lifecycle Management: Optimise CRM workflows using tools like Mailchimp, Zapier, and Pipedrive. Continuously refine customer journeys and nurture loyalty through thoughtful, data-informed campaigns.
Product Launch Execution: Drive go-to-market activity for new offerings. This includes crafting copy, collaborating with global partners to curate standout experiences, and managing updates across digital assets.
Brand Oversight: Act as the brand guardian, ensuring consistency in tone and visual identity. Brief and guide creative outputs across all touchpoints.
Budget Control & Insights: Maintain responsibility for marketing spend, producing clear and actionable reports to inform strategy and stakeholder confidence.
Team Development: Lead and support a small, ambitious marketing team. Encourage collaboration and continuous learning to sustain a productive and positive work environment.
Purpose-Driven Marketing: Play a key role in advancing the business’s commitment to sustainability, embedding responsible practices across marketing activities.
Marketing Manager Skills and Experience Required:
Substantial Marketing Experience, from the travel industry (or a closely relatable industry)
Comfort combining both leading strategy with a hands on approach
Knowledge of the utilisation of all digital marketing channels
Analytical, organised and confident being accountable for allocating budget and reporting
Passionate about responsible, immersive travel
