Marketing Manager Middleby UK, based in Wigan, is the UK subsidiary of the US-based Middleby Corporation, a global leader in commercial and residential kitchen equipment. We import and supply innovative, energy-efficient equipment manufactured by Middleby brands worldwide, serving restaurants, hotels, cafes, and national chains across the UK. Our cutting-edge products are showcased at the Middleby Innovation Kitchen, where chefs and industry professionals experience live demos and explore the latest culinary technology. We are seeking a Marketing Manager/Executive to take ownership of our marketing activities. This is a standalone position, so the ideal candidate will be capable of developing and implementing a marketing strategy, while also being hands-on with the day-to-day tasks. Key Areas of Responsibility Implementation of marketing strategy for the UK To develop and implement and maintain marketing strategy to drive brand awareness Social Activity across Key Platforms Responsible for developing and extending social activity across key social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LI and YouTube. This will include helping to set strategy as well as planning, creating and optimising content for maximum reach and return. Staying on top of trends as well as industry trends in social media to ensure the most relevant content and techniques for reaching and engaging with our target audience Company website Assisting in the development of the Company website and monitoring of site analytics. Development of Marketing Materials Creation of web copy, electronic newsletters, literature and event materials Detailed marketing briefs for new product introductions Working with the E-Commerce partners to drive Middleby UK products on their websites Analysis of Sales Data and provision of Marketing Information Make full use of the companys data mining software to analyse sales data. Carry out research into and report on competitor products, pricing and activities. Assist with organising and manning internal and external events Monthly reporting. Ensuring that company policies and procedures are always followed. Work flexibly as a full team member by covering for holidays and absence, by role re-allocation and carrying out any other duties, which may reasonably be requested of the role when required. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills CIM or marketing qualification Experience within social media for marketing purposes Ability to drive various brand exposure and create brand demand Competent copywriter Articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills Creative mind, ability to develop ideas and contribute to marketing activities Good level of numeracy skills Excellent knowledge of Microsoft and Apple products including PowerPoint, Excel and Word, Imovie and competent in using these to develop presentations and spreadsheets Capable of learning to a high level Company data systems including CRM, data mining software and ERP systems and other marketing specific software such as email creation programmes Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm and Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm.
