Job Overview
The Marketing Manager will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive lead generation, and foster customer engagement. Reporting to the Group Head of Global Marketing, this position requires close collaboration with both the Northern Marketing Team and various internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of B2B marketing dynamics, especially within the food manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement B2B marketing strategies aimed at accelerating brand awareness in the Northern Hemisphere, starting with the UK & Ireland.
- Generate high-quality leads and encourage customer engagement in line with market growth objectives.
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, content, SEO, PPC, and customer engagement events.
- Collaborate with the sales team to design relevant marketing initiatives and sales tools.
- Oversee digital advertising, social media, and website optimisation efforts.
- Analyse performance metrics and provide insights for ongoing improvement of marketing campaigns.
- Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviours to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Manage and mentor the Assistant Brand Manager while coordinating with design and content team members in Australia for high-quality marketing materials.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and the ROI of marketing activities.
- Work collaboratively with the global marketing team to create and leverage universal assets while managing the creation of local assets with external suppliers as required.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of solid marketing experience, preferably in B2B settings.
- Experience within the food manufacturing marketing teams is advantageous.
- Strategic thinker with expertise in lead generation and digital campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital channels and marketing automation tools.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Resilient with a demonstrated initiative and entrepreneurial flair.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across internal and external teams.
