James Mackle Ltd are seeking to appoint a Marketing Manager for our award-winning Cider Vinegar, Natural Umber. Having been in the apple trade for more than 70 years, we pride ourselves in being the experts in our field. It is now time for someone to join our team and properly communicate our passion for Apple Cider Vinegar with the world. The product has gone from strength to strength over the years collecting numerous awards from Great Taste, Blas na heireann and most recently Soil Association awards. Having secured national listing with Holland & Barrett and trials with M&S, we are looking the successful candidate to move the brand in an upwards trajectory to new heights that will align with the main goals as set out by the management team. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that resonate with our target audience. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behaviour, and effective communication to enhance brand visibility and reputation. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscape. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote the brand effectively across various channels. Manage public relations efforts to build and maintain a positive brand image. Analyse campaign performance data to refine strategies and improve future marketing initiatives. Manage social media platforms, crafting engaging content that fosters community interaction and brand loyalty. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all marketing materials. Monitor market developments and consumer feedback to adapt branding strategies, as necessary. Take an existing level of online performance to new levels Required skills Has proven experience in marketing, ideally in retail or e-commerce. Minimum 7 years Is hands-on , email marketing platforms (like Mailchimp) Experience managing Meta ads with a proven ability to set up, optimise, and drive growth through conversion focused campaigns. Flexibility for required marketing events Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for design-related tasks. Ability to analyse data critically to inform decision-making processes.
