We are a global leader in the equine, pet and human supplement industry based in West Sussex. We are looking for an experienced marketing manager to join our team, with proven experience and success across multiple types of marketing.The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategy, managing relationships with external agencies, and overseeing an in-house team. You will play a key role in growing brand awareness, driving engagement, and supporting sales across both B2B and B2C channels. Reporting directly to the company directors, this is a hands-on and strategic role ideal for someone with a deep understanding of marketing.Key responsibilities include:Develop and implement the company’s overall marketing strategy in line with business goalsManage relationships with external agencies (e.g. creative, digital, media, PR), ensuring deliverables meet expectations, timelines, and budgetsLead, mentor, and support the in-house marketing team, fostering collaboration and performancePlan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, email, social media, and eventsMonitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using data and analytics tools. This will include regular updates and strategic insights to company directors, including campaign performance, ROI, and market trendsOversee the development and maintenance of brand identity and messaging across all platformsManage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and accurate financial reportingCollaborate with internal departments (e.g., sales, product, customer service) to align marketing efforts with business objectivesIdentify market opportunities and customer insights to drive campaign development and positioningEnsure all marketing activities comply with relevant legal, data protection, and brand guidelinesStay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging marketing tools and technologiesOversee the production of marketing assets and content, ensuring consistency and quality across channelsKey performance indicators:Marketing budget managementWebsite traffic and conversion ratesEmail marketing sign-ups and CTRD2C and B2B lead generation and retentionExperience & Requirements:Strong understanding of key ecommerce applications (CMS / Google Analytics)Excellent proficiency in MS Office applicationsExperience within the Equine or Pet industry is desirable but not requiredExceptional team playerCandidates will need to be highly organised, intelligent and happy to work as part of a team as well as independently.Educated to degree level in a related discipline #J-18808-Ljbffr
