Marketing Manager – Loyalty & Cultivation £39,000 – £45,000 plus benefits. 12‑month fixed‑term contract, 35 hours per week (compressed hours available). Reporting to the Loyalty & Cultivation Marketing Lead. Location: Stratford, London (high‑flex, 1‑2 days per week in office). At Cancer Research UK we drive innovation to beat cancer. This role shapes and delivers cross‑channel mass marketing to deepen loyalty and support from our supporters. What will I be doing?
Translate the operating plan and budget into an audience marketing plan, defining and developing the audiences and product offerings to activate. Own cross‑sell and cultivation strategy, making data‑led recommendations that balance audience and business need and shape the mass journeys supporters receive. Plan, set up, deliver and analyse integrated multi‑channel campaigns that meet specific audience KPIs. Manage content and creative production, testing and optimisation, ensuring campaign assets are aligned with brand messaging and communication themes. Collaborate with Marketing & Digital to identify and implement strategic marketing opportunities and ensure holistic supporter journeys for CRUK audiences. Work with digital and data experts to improve communications and better engage audiences. Continuously test and analyse campaigns, spotting optimisation opportunities and making recommendations to improve future campaign effectiveness.
What are you looking for?
Significant experience translating marketing strategy into tactical delivery plans by channel, audience and budget. Proven experience planning and delivering multi‑channel campaigns that meet campaign KPIs, focusing on digital channels and associated tools and metrics. Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supporter journeys and the role of different channels in fully integrated campaigns. Relevant experience marketing to existing supporters or managing loyalty schemes. Experience managing and motivating agencies to drive maximum value. Matrix management experience with proven leadership skills and ability to manage competing priorities. Data‑driven with strong UX principles and interpreting results to recommend optimisation opportunities.
