We are looking for a Manager to lead AnyVan’s marketing efforts in France. This is a pivotal role for AnyVan’s international expansion and will be responsible for making sure our brand finds its core customer base – and grows fast. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, supported by the wider marketing function.

What you’ll be doing and the impact you’ll have: delivering campaigns that reach new customers, improve conversion, and drive revenue, with close collaboration across brand, content, influencer, and PR, and alignment with CRM, product marketing, partnerships, SEO and paid social.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for France – identifying market opportunity, key audiences, core messages and channel mix – with support from the Head of Brand and CMO.
  • Be the voice of the French customer internally, using data and insight to shape the proposition, tone and localization.
  • Lead ongoing market activation and campaign delivery with direct responsibility for brand, content, influencer and PR channels.
  • Work with data and finance teams to ensure activity is measurable and drives incremental revenue; lead reporting to the business.
  • Develop, either yourself or with freelancers, creative and compelling content across the customer journey for a wide range of marketing channels, ensuring local relevance and brand consistency.
  • Lead local PR and influencer activity, generating campaigns that support the marketing strategy.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure CRM, product marketing, partnerships, SEO and paid social are executed effectively within a local context.
  • Proactively propose strategies and tactics to optimise marketing efforts in line with business objectives.
  • Contribute campaign ideas and provide briefings and feedback on creative with customer insight and brand experience.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience launching direct-to-consumer tech businesses in the French market. Bonus points if you've worked in a scale-up.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (fluent) and French (fluent).
  • Natural storytelling ability, with experience writing long and short-form copy in French.
  • Broad marketing channel exposure, with direct responsibility for PR and influencer marketing. Knowledge of SEO and partnerships is a plus.
  • Strong experience measuring campaigns against commercial goals and understanding the impact on revenue.
  • Excellent project management skills, balancing organisation and speed of execution.
  • Collaborative and able to influence – able to gain buy-in and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude; self-motivated, responsible, and results-driven.
  • A desire to learn and participate in a two-way feedback culture.
  • Willingness to commute to our offices in Hammersmith at least 3 days a week.
