Brand Marketing:
Support the growth and development of marketing activity & manage a robust annual regional marketing calendar for key accounts and independent stores in the EU, focusing on France and Germany, identifying opportunities, recognising new industry trends and building brand visibility. Work closely with the EU PR department to stay aware of press & influencer activity & support retailer PR events and campaigns, coordinating with retailers. Be aware of future country‑specific calendar commercial/marketing moments and opportunities. Develop seasonal product content/tools to support the sales team with brand training for EU key accounts. Align objectives and EU retailer activity with the social team to ensure all activity is in line with Jellycat guidelines.
Trade Marketing:
Support the Senior Marketing Manager, UK and EU in managing and executing multi‑channel marketing campaigns, activations and store openings with retailers as required. Develop trade, campaign, brand presentations and retailer toolkits to enhance and improve retailer marketing aligned with the brand’s vision and values. Support the ideation, planning & execution of events/activations/openings, organising required materials, liaising with suppliers, attending events and reporting. Act as the main point of contact for EU sales teams, ensuring clear and regular communications and coordinating ad‑hoc sales team requests, including asset requests with the Marketing Executive. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Jellycat brand partners & their marketing teams. Lead the monitoring of social media & websites of key accounts and selected independents to ensure content is up‑to‑date & on brand, communicating new asset releases and regular retailer communications. Lead the support of the EU sales team on preparing & developing marketing elements for yearly trade shows such as invitations & gifting.
Qualifications
A proven trade and consumer marketing experience in a similar role within a luxury brand. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and on time. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience conducting presentations to senior stakeholders and acute attention to detail. Experience in coordinating the production of marketing materials, including catalogues, toolkits and other promotional items. A strong understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to ensure consistency across all channels. A team player mentality who is flexible, personable, positive and is motivated by being part of a high performing team. A great sense of initiative and autonomy. Fluency in French and English. German language skills desirable.
