We are looking for a Marketing Manager (Adviser) to join Royal London’s Brand & Marketing team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our UK adviser marketing strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to be the UK marketing lead on a key strategic programme, collaborating across business units, and driving impactful marketing initiatives that support our Group Purpose and Strategy.
About the Role
- Develop and deliver the UK communications and marketing approach for an exciting technology programme, supporting Royal London’s objectives.
- Develop audience messaging and lead marketing activity for the programme, collaborating with B&M colleagues, UK CLDs, Proposition, Group Ops, and Distribution teams.
- Use data and insights to measure, track, and optimise marketing activity, demonstrating impact on business objectives.
- Develop deep audience knowledge to identify adviser and customer insights that feed into marketing activity.
- Direct and indirect people and project leadership across a B&M virtual team, championing marketing best practice and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with pensions marketing lead, ensuring alignment with broader adviser messaging and plans.
- Support the Head of Adviser Marketing in providing marketing direction and reporting effectiveness.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory, industry, and Royal London standards.
About You
- Marketing Degree or CIM qualification
- Experience leading the development and delivery of marketing plans across different audiences, including B2B.
- Advanced understanding of marketing communication tools and techniques.
- Strong project management skills and experience in financial services, including knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Analytical, highly numerate, and able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience managing budgets and risks.
- Demonstrates data-driven insights, digital advocacy, customer focus, and leadership.
