OverviewMarsh McLennan marketing and communications (MM), covering Marsh and Mercer, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to join the UK team on a maternity cover basis. Based in London, the role supports a range of campaigns across MM with a focus on Marsh's Cyber and Specie specialty insurance lines. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence of at least three days per week.What you can expectYou will work closely with the Head of Marketing, Marsh Specialty UK, to execute the UK marketing strategy aligned to UK business objectives.You will collaborate with the wider MM marketing team to deliver brand activation, digital lead generation, client retention campaigns, and measurement of campaign performance (KPIs and timely reporting).The marketing team partners with the business, client and sales teams to develop and activate marketing strategies for commercial success, requiring experience across multiple marketing programmes for different lines of business in a coordinated approach.What you will be asked to doWork with business stakeholders to understand practice areas and client focus, using insights to create fit-for-purpose marketing campaigns aligned to the overall strategy.Deliver compelling marketing propositions and plans to position Marsh in key market segments based on client-led insights.Leverage digital marketing to enhance client/prospect engagement, support activation, and drive lead generation.Collaborate with the Marsh website team to improve UX and engagement for always-on marketing and a frictionless client journey.Build and nurture the Marsh brand through social activities, working with social media and PR teams, and manage digital lead generation and awareness (social paid and organic).Drive performance excellence through cross-team collaboration to share best practices and ensure integrated, efficient delivery and consistent approach.Engage internal stakeholders with proactive internal communications to create advocates and amplify campaign activity for commercial impact.Advise sales and consultant teams on how to leverage marketing with clear sales enablement assets.Ensure best practices and Marsh policies, and applicable laws/regulations are adhered to so that all marketing is compliant.Develop awareness of the wider marketplace to spot opportunities for timely marketing and PR activity.What you need to haveExperience in a corporate matrixed marketing environment.Experience across all marketing disciplines and delivery channels with strong digital marketing and analytics capabilities.Experience building B2B brands and delivering integrated campaigns with impact.Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.Team-oriented with a proactive, collaborative approach and attention to detail.Flexible mindset, comfortable with change and innovation, and structured in thinking.Degree level or equivalent qualification.What makes you stand outExperience delivering multi-disciplinary marketing campaigns.Knowledge of digital marketing as an enabler of commercial success.Client-centric focus to translate internal propositions into client-friendly value-added campaigns.Project management skills.Ideally, background in marketing in insurance.Curiosity to understand the business and improve campaign execution.What you will be rewarded withProfessional development opportunities, engaging work, and supportive leadership.A vibrant and inclusive culture with colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC) is a global leader in risk, strategy and people, advising clients in 130 countries across Marsh, Guy Carpenter, Mercer and Oliver Wyman.
