Overview

Lidl’s Marketing Graduate Programme develops talent across three core areas of Marketing: Media & Strategy, Campaigns, and Engagement. The programme provides structured development through partnerships with agencies and in-house teams to deliver campaigns across multiple channels, including TV, radio, instore, online, social media, PR, and events. You will work with colleagues in global partnerships, local store marketing, and store-specific events to engage communities and bring brands to life.

What you’ll do

The Marketing Graduate Programme is a two-year, intensive development path with the following core areas:

  • Media & Strategy: strategic planning, marketing strategy, and media planning/buying with agencies to ensure Lidl advertising is seen in the right place, at the right time, by the right people.
  • Campaigns: project management of brand, trade-driving, and business-as-usual campaigns from development to implementation; coordination with in-house teams and external creative agencies to manage all channels for a campaign (TV, radio, instore, online, etc.).
  • Engagement: work with customers to create meaningful moments through partnerships, events, and communications; build connections that bring Lidl closer to its communities.

Additional responsibilities include collaborating across teams, supporting inhouse production and creative teams who design and produce visuals and moving image assets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2:2 degree (in any discipline), awarded in 2024, 2025 or 2026, but must be graduated by September 2026
  • Experience in a marketing-based role is advantageous
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Desire to learn, develop, and challenge yourself in a dynamic environment
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial flair, adaptable and highly driven
  • Decisive and able to cope with targets and deadlines
  • Confident and effective communicator
  • Willing to relocate or already within a one-hour commute of Lidl GB Head Office, Tolworth, Surrey
  • Eligible to work in the UK on a full-time basis
  • German language skills desirable but not essential
