Overall job purposeThe marketing executive will support the implementation of marketing, comms and lead generation activity across RSM's Industrials industry group. This group incorporates the Manufacturing, Energy and Natural Resources and Transport and Logistics sector groups. Taking a national view, you will help to grow those sectors in line with the national Industrials strategy and objectives. The role will also require liaising with our brand and comms teams to ensure full utilisation of all appropriate digital channels and PR, as well as taking responsibility for a number of events and third-party relationships.ResponsibilitiesParticular responsibility for ownership the Energy and Natural Resources and Transport and Logistics sector groups, in addition to supporting Manufacturing activityThe development and delivery of approved marketing plans, regularly checking progress and ensuring plans are delivered within budget and provide effective ROIHelp to deliver strategic, issues driven campaigns, collaborating across all service lines, demand generation and the clients and markets team to ensure effective deployment of the campaignsDelivery of regular effective internal and external communications material and collateral to build interest and engagement with the industry groupWork with the national PR team to ensure adequate, timely and appropriate PR coverage for your sectorsTake responsibility for planning and delivery of sector related events, conferences and third party initiatives and sponsorshipsOwn some of the third party sector relationships to proactively maximise valueDevelop and maintain marketing materials to support business development, such as up to date sector information, testimonials and credentials and act as central point for collating innovative ideas and driving best practiceSupport knowledge sharing by developing maintaining and developing collaboration hubs on the intranetChampion the industry BI report and use as a basis to drive KPIs and inform decision making within the sectorsBe proactive in developing own knowledge of relevant sectors and external marketsBe a brand advocate for the industry, ensuring that all communications are brand compliantAssist with other marketing and business development projects as requiredPersonal and professional qualitiesThe role requires:A marketing and business development professional with experience working in a similar roleProven track record at building successful professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersStrong copywriting and editorial skillsA highly organised individual with drive, enthusiasm and the ability to constructively challenge partnersAbility to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, managing own workload and prioritiesA professional and credible communicator with solid commercial awarenessA highly competent user of Microsoft OfficeProfessional services experience and a marketing related degree/qualification desired, but not essentialAn active team player#LI-AE1Do you already know your future colleagues?
