ICS-digital, an international marketing agency including ICS-translate, also operates under the group.

This role will be working from our London office 3 days a week and 2 days working from home.

Primarily to support the Marketing Team in driving new customer account acquisition and betting conversion across all Spotlight Sports Group Channels. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, getting involved in a broad range of communication channels and gain exposure across different marketing departments and activities including CRM, Campaigns, Affiliate Operations, Social Media and Video Production.

Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder management and close collaboration with the editorial team, internal design, content marketing, commercial stakeholders and product team to deliver effective marketing activations.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to help create and execute overarching marketing campaigns.
  • Spend time with each marketing department (Campaigns, Affiliate Operations, CRM, Social & Video) to understand how each area supports business goals.
  • Plan, schedule and execute detailed marketing plans around key festivals, with a main focus on Cheltenham, Aintree and Royal Ascot.
  • Support the Campaigns Manager to plan, create, coordinate and deliver core marketing campaigns for Racing Post, supporting bookmaker partners and delivering conversion campaigns that meet contractual obligations.
  • Support the CRM team to deliver regular, high-quality communications via email and the Racing Post app.
  • Support the Social Media Team to produce engaging content that drives growth, increases betting revenues and promotes Racing Post products across social channels (including MyRacing Tips and Footy Super Tips).
  • Assist the video production team by creating content, graphics and video clips, meeting deadlines and optimising key moments.
  • Learn to deliver flawless execution of Racing Post marketing campaigns across all key media channels.
  • Perform regular QA of all customer journeys across Racing Post products.
  • Analyse results of marketing activity to guide future improvements for revenue-driving channels.
  • Develop a holistic view of marketing work to cover for annual leave and broaden experience across the function.
  • This role includes some weekend work (approximately 2-4 days per month).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Sports knowledge and understanding of sports betting is essential.
  • An understanding or interest in horse racing is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Highest level of attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
