Key Responsibilities
Delivery of integrated multichannel campaigns for both online and offline channels - email, digital, social media, direct mail, advocacy, PR, advertising. To support the team in the execution of the portfolio marketing strategy achieving maximum penetration through a brand‑led approach. To manage and update event websites from a marketing and content perspective, to ensure maximum engagement and enhanced UX for each product as well as ensuring SEO best practices are incorporated. To contribute to the social media strategy and manage activity across all channels ensuring that we achieve continuous audience growth and improved engagement. To proactively set up contra agreements with media partners to extend the campaign to the broadest possible audience. To create and repurpose design assets ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to. To write and proof marketing collateral to include e‑shots, direct mail and website copy in our brand tone of voice. To produce clear and effective briefing documents for external suppliers and internal service departments. Effectively manage and co‑ordinate external marketing suppliers including creative agencies, mailing houses, photographer/videographer, printers, PR. Marketing administration including activity scheduling, proofreading, customer enquiries, monitoring competitor activity, KPI tracking and reporting etc. Utilise tech to maximum effect, including Trello, Pardot, Treasure Data, Qualified, Gleanin, Canva etc. To constantly keep up to date with the latest marketing trends ensuring actively share with the team and implement to further optimise campaigns.
Qualifications
Self‑starter with excellent communication skills and a keen curiosity. Proven experience of delivering high quality work within timescales and budgets with a good creative eye. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills: the role will be working within a vibrant growing marketing team. 1–2 years marketing experience; events experience preferred but not essential. Previous experience in a similar role preferably within the events or exhibition industry but not limited to. A genuine team player that is collaborative in nature. Highly proactive attitude – able to take prompt action to accomplish objectives and goals. Strong sense of personal accountability. Good organisational skills and time management. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Creative eye and strong attention to detail. Experience of using CRM/marketing automation tools is an advantage. Experience in SEO optimisation an advantage.
