About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, creative and highly organised Content Marketing Executive to help us deliver smart, impactful content that cuts through the noise, builds our brand, and drives engagement and data acquisition.
This role goes beyond writing — you’ll work on editorial, campaign and brand-building projects that get people talking and taking action. Whether it's crafting a standout newsletter, helping shape a headline campaign, producing a retailer case study, or turning insights into powerful playbooks — your content will inform, inspire, and convert.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Senior Content Marketing Manager, Social Media Executive and wider team across creative, comms and partner functions. You’ll also support and align with the Social Media Executive to ensure unified messaging and coverage across all content channels — and step in to support each other where needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Newsletter Creation – Own the planning, writing and optimisation of our weekly newsletters — driving engagement, click-throughs and signups.
- Blog & Website Content – Write and publish compelling stories, case studies, trend insights and campaign coverage that grow our audience and support SEO.
- Editorial Campaigns & White Papers – Contribute to larger projects like playbooks, reports and downloadable resources — including ideation, writing, layout and promotional planning.
- Partner Contributor Management – Coordinate and edit content from guest writers, contributors or collaborators — ensuring quality, consistency and alignment with our brand voice.
- Brand-Building Campaign Support – Work on bold, creative campaigns that raise awareness and make noise — helping with messaging, storytelling, tone of voice, and campaign content assets across formats.
- Content Distribution & Optimisation – Support how content is shared across social, email and web. Track what’s landing, and use insights to improve reach and performance.
Brand Campaign Involvement
You’ll play an active role in shaping and supporting multi-channel campaigns — including:
- Writing and editing key messaging and copy across formats
- Supporting launch plans and cross-platform rollouts
- Contributing creative ideas that help us stand out
- Aligning content across social, web, newsletters, PR and partnerships
What You’ll Need
- 1–2+ years in content, editorial, or marketing roles
- Excellent writing, editing and content structuring skills
- Experience producing content across email, blogs, downloads and campaign assets
- Creative confidence and curiosity — happy to contribute ideas as well as execution
- Solid understanding of marketing funnels, content journeys and engagement triggers
Bonus Points For
- Involvement in brand campaigns or multi-format launches
- Interest in creative strategy, messaging or storytelling
- Visual eye for layout/design or experience collaborating with designers
- Passion for retail, independent business, or creative entrepreneurship
- Experience with tools: Hubspot, ASP, Canva, Wrike, Google Workspace, basic SEO
Example Tasks You Might Do:
- Write a blog post based on a retailer success story and optimise it for SEO
- Help shape the messaging for a brand campaign launching at a key trade show
- Draft, format and promote a downloadable industry report
- Edit and publish a contributor article from a retail expert
- Collaborate with the Social Media Exec on a cross-platform content push
- Analyse newsletter performance and test subject lines to improve open rates
