We are based onsite at Northumbria University, and work in partnership with our clients to deliver the best university experience with our hospitality and event catering, for all students and faculty.We love food, love great events and are passionate about delivering the best.We work between our central and onsite teams to build our Northumbria University catering brand, and we’re looking for a new marketing and events manager to deliver our marketing and events strategy, keep our customers engaged, build brilliant supplier relationships, and deliver amazing events on campus.Overall Purpose of the RoleOwn our brand onsiteEnhance the university experience, for staff and students, through our offer and special events calendarDrive sales with a strategic approach to customer profiling, targeted communication plans and an engaging, innovative events calendarBuild excellent relationships with our clients, customers, suppliers and partnersKey ResponsibilitiesOwn our onsite brand. Ensure adherence to central team guidelines, whilst maintaining Northumbria University’s unique sense of self.Use our brand’s tone of voice, within the existing guidelines. From our menus to our temporary signage – make sure we sound like us, our brand and what we want it to beWork in and own our Canva account for campaign resources, visual identity assets, plus all the useful stuff like menus and labelsWork with our existing partner brands and franchises. Support the operational teams with installs and operational delivery to make sure that our outlets are looking their best for customers, and are compliant for brand auditsEnsure that our brands, campaigns and promotions are displayed accurately and consistently across outlets and that our operational teams have all the kit they needWork within EDI guidelines. We don’t want to hit the minimum requirements; we want best practice in inclusivity and accessibility.
