Reporting to our EMEA Commercial Sales Lead, we are excited to offer an entry-level opportunity for a highly motivated and driven individual ready to launch their career and connect our leading product with the right customers. You will work alongside Starburst’s sales and marketing teams with a foundational understanding of how technology impacts business. Comprehensive training, mentorship, and full support will be provided to help you excel and build a strong foundation in software sales/marketing.

Responsibilities

• Contact, educate, and qualify inbound prospective customers in order to generate qualified sales opportunities.
• Leverage all available tools and resources, including email, telephone, web conferencing, webinars, and in-person events, to effectively engage prospects.
• Develop sales acumen: Master the fundamentals of prospecting, discovery, and lead qualification processes.
• Consistently track, meet and exceed targets.
• Learn how Starburst technology addresses the technical and business challenges of enterprises.
• Collaborate with your assigned Account Executive(s) to create sales opportunities in their assigned territory.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree
• Business-level fluency in French, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Hard-working, self-starter, and willing to achieve a high volume of activity every day while maintaining a positive and energetic persona.
• Excellent phone skills, including listening, presentation, and objection handling, as well as strong writing skills.
• Strong desire to win and a deep motivation to build a successful sales career.
• Ability to prioritise and reprioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
• Great attention to detail.
• Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (e.g., Google Docs, MS-Office, Web-conferencing).
• Team player with integrity.
• Ability to travel: occasional in-person travel for onboarding, team/offsites, customer engagements, and events. Travel expectations vary by role and business needs.

Location

• This role is based in our London office and follows a hybrid model, with an expectation of being onsite 2-3 days per week.
