Are you ready to LEVEL-UP THE GAME?The RoleWe are looking for a detailed-oriented and proactive Marketing Data Analyst to join FDJ UNITED’s Marketing Analytics team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency and reconciliation of our Marketing and Media spend and performance data across multiple sources, supporting our measurement efforts across all our Marketing activities.As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and validating our marketing spend and performance data, ensuring alignment with our centrally-reported figures, and supporting the wider Marketing and Marketing Analytics teams in ensuring we have the high-quality and trusted data sources necessary to provide accurate reporting, analysis and modelling. You will work closely with internal teams across Marketing, Commercial Analysis, Data Engineering and Finance, and become the central figure in aligning this data.This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of marketing and media, a good analytic acumen and eye for detail, and an interest in marketing attribution, marketing mix modelling and data governance.What You Will DoMarketing Spend reconciliation and Performance data qualityReconcile our marketing spend and performance across different sources, and finance-reported costs.Identify and support the resolution of discrepancies between marketing platforms and internal systems.Maintain understanding and documentation of the data sources, reconciliation and resolution for marketing data.Data management and operational supportProactively identify issues and gaps in data.Coordinate with internal data engineering teams and external partners to resolve data quality issues and feed disruptions.Reporting and stakeholder engagementWork with our Reporting Analytics function to support development of accurate marketing spend and performance reporting.Support weekly, monthly and quarterly data refreshes across different modelling and reporting efforts.Collaborate with Marketing Analysts, Marketing stakeholders and SMEs, Data Engineering and our Finance teams to ensure that performance reports and models reflect the latest data.ComplianceEnsure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.Your ExperienceEssential skillsExperience in data operations or analytics role.Familiarity with marketing and media channels, and the methods and metrics used to understand marketing performance and attribution.Comfortable querying data using SQL, and using BI platforms to access data.Preferred experienceExposure to marketing analytics concepts like media-mix modelling, last-click attribution, campaign tracking and performance KPIs.Experience working with marketing stakeholders and data engineering teams.Well organised and able to manage across multiple data sources and projects.Strong communication to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.A problem-solving nature and analytic curiosity.Our Way Of WorkingOur world is hybrid.A career is not a sprint.
