Hours: 37.5 per week availability to work match days and some evening events.

About the Role:

The Marketing & CRM Executive is responsible for executing and delivering marketing campaigns that drive growth, fan engagement, and revenue for Walsall FC.

This role involves managing multi-channel marketing initiatives, including email, social media, website content, in-stadium promotions, and fan engagement strategies. A key focus is to drive growth and increase supporter engagement at all levels of the loyalty ladder.

The role also includes delivering marketing materials across various platforms, such as the big screen, snap frames, and PA system, with an emphasis on matchday activation. Additionally, the Marketing & CRM Executive will also drive fan and customer engagement, and manage the PA announcer to enhance the matchday experience.

Person Specification:

A proactive and accountable approach, with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities and ensure the effective delivery of key objectives

Strong interpersonal skills with a consistent team-player attitude and the ability to build excellent working relationships

Proven experience in executing marketing campaigns within sport, events, or entertainment

A solutions-oriented mindset, using initiative and common sense to resolve problems

Comfortable working in high-pressure situations and to tight deadlines

Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing, including email, social media, website, and print

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write PA scripts and engage with fans on matchdays

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple campaigns simultaneously

Experience in matchday marketing, including content delivery via big screens, snap frames, and PA systems

Knowledge of loyalty schemes and supporter engagement strategies

Understanding of fan behaviour and customer journey mapping

A genuine interest in football
