Our client has an exciting role for someone at the beginning of their career in marketing or looking to get into the leisure pursuits industry. It offers huge variety and gives the successful candidate an opportunity to work across PR, sponsorship, social media, content creation, digital marketing and influencer marketing. All while working alongside some of the biggest brands in the sport! The Marketing Co‑ordinator will provide assistance to the Communications Department, work with the Social Media team to assist with producing content for managed channels including copy and content production, will manage consumer queries via social media, assist Media and Sponsorship teams with sending product to journalists, athletes and ambassadors and provide assistance to the Content Team on photo and video shoots for new product introductions and various projects. You’ll work at events as and when required and some travel is involved (all expenses covered). You will work with the Digital Team to keep the website copy updated and fresh and you will keep on top of various digital and social media trends to keep content and channels vibrant. You will provide assistance to the Media and Communications Manager with the organisation of media samples. You’ll actively be on the lookout for new athletes, ambassadors and influencers that they could work with. You will work across the entire sports brand portfolio so you will need to be very good at managing your time effectively. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and vocal – they want to hear your ideas! You will also be commercially and creatively minded with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will act as key member of the Marketing Team and the Company as a whole. You will possess excellent attention to detail as you will be creating copy for websites and social media. Excellent organisational skills are key and you will be hard‑working, adaptable and eager to learn and progress. You must possess a full UK driving licence. Qualifications
Full UK driving licence. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Commercially and creatively minded. Excellent attention to detail. Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Creative and commercially minded with enthusiasm for social media content. A passion for photography is a bonus. Experience or interest in marketing, PR, sponsorship, social media or influencer marketing. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
